Data Analyst

Turn what HCF actually does — drives, cohorts, usage — into numbers the organisation can be honest about in public.

HCF publishes very few figures, on purpose: the ones it has are unaudited and it says so. This seat exists to change that from the inside — to build measurement good enough that the organisation can start stating outcomes without overclaiming.

You would work across distribution drives, education cohorts and product usage, and the standard is uncomfortable honesty rather than a good-looking dashboard.

What you would do

  • Define what is worth counting, and what counting it would prove
  • Build the pipelines and checks that keep those numbers trustworthy
  • Report findings plainly, including the ones nobody wanted
  • Make the analysis reproducible by someone who is not you

What we are looking for

  • SQL, and Python or R for analysis
  • You can tell a real effect from a hopeful one
  • Clear writing — the analysis is worthless if nobody acts on it
  • Scepticism about your own conclusions

These are not calculator projects or website clones. You will work on RAG systems, real databases and production AI pipelines — the kind of work you can actually talk about in an interview.
